Welcome to the Rotary Club of Honolulu Sunrise! Chartered on May 7, 1990 we are known for our enthusiasm, infectious spirit, camaraderie and commitment to serve others. We work together on a number of different projects each year that benefit our youth and our community.

The Rotary Club of Honolulu Sunrise has been selected twice as the District 5000 "Rotary Club of the Year. The Rotary Club of Honolulu Sunrise was also a recipient of the coveted Rotary Achievements Award for assisting in the development of "Read to Me" program which has been adopted internationally. We have a wide-range of service activities helping our local and the international community. Join us and catch the spirit of helping others!

Rotary is a worldwide organization of more than 1.2 million business, professional, and community leaders. Members of Rotary clubs, known as Rotarians, provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

There are 33,000 Rotary clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas. Clubs are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds. As signified by the motto Service Above Self, Rotary's main objective is service in the ccommunity, in the workplace, and throughout the world.

The Rotary Club of Honolulu Sunrise celebrates 20 years of service to our in 2010 with 65 members from various vocations and ethnic backgrounds, and looking to continue to grow.

Although membership in the Rotary Club of Honolulu Sunrise is by invitation, I encourage you to learn more about Rotary and what it means to be a Rotarian. We meet every Monday from 7:15 AM to 8:15 AM at the Pacific Club located at 1451 Queen Emma Street, in downtown Honolulu. Our fellowship, greeting, and breakfast begins at 6:45 AM; meetings start exactly at 7:15 AM. We wear aloha attire.

We don't just talk about Service Above Self" we live it! Come find out how you can make a difference in our community, have good fun with others, and discover what makes getting up at the crack of dawn on Monday to start your work-week so rewarding.
